Mental Health Clinician / Registered Intern Hybrid | Central Florida | Fee-for-Service / Pay-Per-Piece W-2 opportunities available for Florida Registered Interns and independently licensed clinicians. 1099 opportunities are available ONLY to independently licensed clinicians. CityLight Counseling is growing, and we're looking for compassionate, motivated clinicians who want to build their caseload and develop professionally within a supportive private-practice environment. Whether you're a post-graduate clinician beginning your career as a Florida Registered Intern or an independently licensed clinician looking for greater flexibility and autonomy , we'd love to hear from you. About CityLight Counseling CityLight Counseling is a private group practice serving the Central Florida community from our Hunters Creek location through a combination of in-person and telehealth services. Our mission is to empower and uplift our community by providing exceptional, holistic mental health care. We prioritize accessibility, integrity, and high-quality care while recognizing that great client care starts with clinicians who feel supported in doing the work they were trained to do. Our team handles many of the administrative responsibilities of private practice—including scheduling support, credentialing, client service, and marketing—so our clinicians can spend more of their time focused on clinical care and professional growth. Who We're Looking For We welcome applications from: Florida Registered Mental Health Counselor Interns (RMHCI) Florida Registered Marriage & Family Therapist Interns (RMFTI) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC) Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists (LMFT) Licensed Clinical Psychologists (PhD or PsyD) Post-graduate/Registered Interns are encouraged to apply. Employment Classification This is a fee-for-service/pay-per-piece position , with compensation based on completed clinical services and designated administrative activities rather than a traditional fixed hourly salary. W-2: Available to eligible Registered Interns and independently licensed clinicians. 1099
Independent Contractor:
Available ONLY to clinicians who hold an active, independent Florida license and otherwise qualify for independent-contractor engagement. Registered Interns and other pre-licensed clinicians are not eligible for 1099 contractor positions with CityLight Counseling. Applicants should understand that this compensation model does not provide a guaranteed salary or a guaranteed number of paid clinical hours. Compensation Compensation varies based on licensure, experience, service type, and payer.
Clinical Services Insurance sessions:
$40
  • 60 per completed billable session/hour Individual private-pay sessions: $50
  • 75 per completed session/hour Individual private-pay initial intake: $60
  • 105 Couples/family private-pay sessions: $60
  • 100 per completed session/hour Qualifying late cancellations/no-shows: $40 Specific rates are determined based on factors including licensure status, experience, service type, and payer.
