This position begins as a flexible, part-time 1099 role with the clear objective of building up to a full caseload. As a private, self-pay practice, we operate entirely out of network and do not bill insurance— insurance credentialing is not required to apply. What We Offer

Manage your caseload and client schedules while maintaining active, clear communication. Conduct in-person sessions during available office hours (M/W/F) and/or conduct virtual sessions during self-scheduled hours. Qualifications
Licensure:
Active state license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) in good standing.

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic healthcare team. Utilizing evidence-based practices such as psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and behavior management techniques, you will help clients achieve their mental health goals. Duties Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to determine client needs. Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing modalities such as child & youth therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and social work strategies. Deliver crisis intervention and crisis management services to ensure client safety during urgent situations. Facilitate telehealth therapy sessions with clients across various settings while maintaining clinical documentation standards within EMR/EHR systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate case management efforts for clients with co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities. Maintain detailed medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines. Experience Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or adults in outpatient or inpatient settings. Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, or applied behavior analysis (ABA). Experience conducting mental health assessments and utilizing ICD coding for diagnosis documentation. Familiarity with crisis intervention protocols and trauma-focused therapies like PTSD care. Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health conditions and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems. Background working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder is highly desirable.
