Job Description
We are hiring for a part-time therapist with T/Th office availability in Avondale, to conduct in-person or telehealth therapy. The therapist will have a background in women's mental health, mood disorders, or grief and loss. Responsibilities include conducting new client assessments, developing treatment plans, facilitating ongoing sessions, and maintaining accurate, timely clinical documentation. The role involves case consultation, participating in team meetings, and coordinating care and referrals as needed. The therapist is expected to maintain ethical standards, participate in continuing education, and contribute to an inclusive, trauma-informed, and affirming environment for all clients. •Option to grow case load to full time•Qualifications Licensed or license-eligible mental health professional (e.g., LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, PsyD, or equivalent) in the state of Illinois. Demonstrated skills in individual and/or couples therapy, including experience with perinatal mental health, mood disorders, grief and loss, and relationship concerns. Ability to conduct clinical assessments, develop collaborative treatment plans, and use evidence-informed therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EFT, mindfulness-based approaches). Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills, with an empathetic, client-centered, and trauma-informed approach. Commitment to culturally responsive, gender-neutral, and non-discriminatory practice, including working effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds and identities. Solid organizational skills for managing caseloads, documentation, scheduling, and coordination of care in a collaborative setting. Comfort working on-site in a small group practice setting and engaging in peer consultation and team collaboration. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and adherence to confidentiality and ethical guidelines. Prior experience in outpatient therapy or private practice is preferred, and specialized training in perinatal mental health or grief counseling is a plus.
