Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately diagnose clients' mental health requirements and formulate effective treatment plans tailored to their unique experiences. Facilitate individual therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness practices, and psychodynamic approaches, to foster personal growth and insight. Collaborate with clients to develop realistic therapeutic goals, monitor progress over time, and make necessary adjustments to treatment strategies. Provide teletherapy services, ensuring accessibility for clients who may face mobility challenges or reside in remote areas. Maintain thorough and accurate documentation per ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations. Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training to expand your expertise, particularly in areas such as trauma-informed care and substance abuse treatment. Patient Population / Client Focus At Inner Calm Progressive Therapy, our client focus encompasses a broad spectrum of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma recovery, and family dynamics. We serve clients of all ages and backgrounds, ensuring that our approaches are culturally responsive and tailored to individual needs. Qualifications Must hold a valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field. Exceptional communication skills to foster strong therapeutic relationships with clients, displaying empathy, understanding, and non-judgmental support. Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively handle caseload and administrative responsibilities. A commitment to adhering to ethical guidelines and maintaining client confidentiality in all aspects of practice. Preferred Experience Experience working in a community health setting or private practice. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapy practices. Past work involving the treatment of substance abuse or co-occurring disorders is a plus. Compensation and Benefits $70,000 to $100,000 annual salary, commensurate with experience and credentials.
