Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Outpatient Therapist to join our mental health and behavioral health team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality psychotherapy services to diverse patient populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. This role involves conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapies in an outpatient setting. The Outpatient Therapist will play a vital role in supporting patients' mental health recovery and overall well-being through a variety of therapeutic modalities and interventions. Duties Conduct thorough patient intake assessments utilizing ICD-9, ICD-10, and ICD coding standards to accurately document diagnoses and treatment plans. Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and other evidence-based practices. Utilize crisis intervention strategies and crisis management skills to support patients experiencing acute mental health crises. Implement specialized counseling approaches including grief counseling, addiction counseling, PTSD care, gender issues counseling, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation of medical records, patient care notes, and progress reports with accuracy and timeliness. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate case management efforts and ensure comprehensive patient care. Engage in clinical research or data collection initiatives to improve treatment outcomes and contribute to ongoing program development. Provide telehealth services when appropriate, ensuring seamless access to mental health care for remote patients. Stay current with medical terminology relevant to behavioral health and participate in ongoing professional development. Requirements Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field; licensure as required by state regulations. Proven experience in outpatient mental health settings with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring special education services. Proficiency in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, group therapy, behavior management techniques, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Strong skills in crisis intervention, crisis management, social work practices, and behavioral health assessment. Experience working with children & family counseling, addiction counseling, grief counseling, trauma-informed care (including PTSD), and working with people with autism or developmental disabilities is highly desirable. ICD-9/ICD-10

coding systems for diagnostic evaluation and medical documentation standards including CPT coding. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and security of medical records. Telehealth experience is preferred to facilitate remote patient engagement. Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate approach toward patient care. Pay:

$40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
