The primary role of the Outpatient Therapist is to provide Counseling to Adults, Children, and Adolescents in the Greater New Orleans Area. The position may require work in the office as well as via telehealth. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 yrs experience with Adults and Children with Serious Mental Illness (SMI) and hold the LMSW, PLMFT, PLPC, or PLP Credential or be a Psychology Intern at an APA approved school . In addition, candidates with training in Cognitive Behavioral Interventions, Motivational Interviewing, Crisis Intervention, and Trauma Informed Evidenced Based Care models are preferred. The candidate must be professional, reliable, a team player, and self motivated. Weekly case consultations and monthly staff meeting in person attendance is required. The position is Part Time with the potential for Full Time available. The pay range is between $30-$35/hour, commensurate with experience and training. The position includes a flexible schedule, Professional Continuing Education, Social Work supervision towards Licensure, as well as Social Work License Exam prep and practice tests.
