Position:

Mental Health Therapist - Adult and Youth Services Program (Dayton, Ohio) This position is part-time and with flexible hours. We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Mental Health Therapist to join our expanding Behavioral Health Services Program in Dayton. In this role, you'll provide comprehensive clinical services to children, adolescents, adults, and families , supporting them through a wide range of behavioral health needs. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized service plans (ISPs). Provide individual, group, and family therapy. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with agency and state standards. Coordinate care and facilitate appropriate referrals. Respond to client crises and provide interim coverage when needed. Utilize evidence-based practices to address diverse clinical needs. Track client outcomes and meet productivity expectations. Support clients navigating trauma, addiction, mental health challenges, grief, loss, and relationship concerns. Qualifications Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field (required). Active Ohio licensure LSW, LPC, or MFT (LISW, LPCC, or IMFT strongly preferred). Solid understanding of child and family development , DSM-5 diagnoses , and solution-focused treatment models . Strong interpersonal, communication, and crisis management skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Experience with trauma-informed and de-escalation techniques.
