Associate (Outpatient Telehealth & In-Person) Our thriving group private practice in Nashville, Tennessee, provides innovative, compassionate, evidence-based outpatient care. We operate on a supportive independent contractor model designed to offer maximum scheduling freedom, a steady flow of client referrals, and robust administrative backing while you accrue hours toward full licensure under the Tennessee Board for Professional Counselors. We are seeking a motivated
LPC/MHSP
Associate (holding an active temporary/associate license in Tennessee) to join our team as a 1099 independent contractor. You will provide direct outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families. Compensation is based on a competitive percentage split of collected session revenue, allowing your income to scale directly with your active caseload. Key Responsibilities Manage an independent outpatient caseload providing individual, couples, or family psychotherapy. Complete timely clinical documentation and manage client records through our HIPAA-compliant EHR system. Conduct diagnostic intake evaluations and build goal-focused treatment plans following DSM-5 criteria. Attend routine clinical supervision and team case consultations to support licensure progression. Comply fully with state regulations set by the Tennessee Department of Health. Qualifications & Requirements Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling or a closely related mental health field from an accredited institution. Active Temporary/Associate
LPC/MHSP
License in good standing with the State of Tennessee. Strong ethical framework, autonomy, and commitment to client-centered care. Ability to maintain professional liability insurance (malpractice) as a 1099 contractor.
