Part-Time W-2 Associate Therapist (AMFT, APCC, or ASW) Roseville, CA + Fair Oaks| Hybrid (In-Person + Telehealth) Advantage Mental Health & Marriage Counseling is a growing private practice with locations in Roseville and Fair Oaks seeking 1-2 Associate Therapists (AMFT, APCC, or ASW) to join as part-time W-2 employees with opportunity for full-time employment . This is an opportunity to build your caseload in a supportive setting while receiving consistent supervision, streamlined systems, and practical mentorship. As a W-2 employee, your payroll taxes, malpractice coverage, and practice systems are handled for you , so you can focus on clinical work rather than administrative burden. Position Overview Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families Maintain a caseload of approximately 15-20 clients per week Offer services in person and/or through HIPAA-secure telehealth Use SimplePractice for scheduling, documentation, and client management Review and approve AI-assisted progress notes for efficiency Participate in at least one hour of weekly individual supervision Keep treatment plans current and communicate any safety or risk concerns promptly Why This Position Stands Out This role is designed to reduce the common stressors associates often face in early practice.
You may be wondering:
Will I get my hours? Yes. Supervision and clinical hours are tracked in alignment with California BBS requirements . Will documentation take over my evenings? No. The practice uses AI-supported documentation , which significantly reduces note-writing time. Notes primarily require review and approval. Will I be stuck doing unpaid administrative work? No. Compensation is structured to account for clinical responsibilities, including documentation and supervision expectations. Will I be supported with difficult cases? Yes. You will have direct access for consultation and support , along with malpractice coverage under the practice policy. Is there a non-compete? No. There are no non-compete restrictions . When you are licensed, your clients are still yours. We always operate with a "client first" mentality. Continuity of care is prioritized over maintaining clients with the company. Qualifications Current AMFT, APCC or ACSW registration with the California BBS Master's degree in MFT, Social Work, or a closely related field Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records Able to maintain a reliable weekly schedule Available for at least one in-office day per week Compensation and Benefits $45-$70+ per clinical hour , depending on caseload and services type Marketing, notes, supervision, admin time paid at $20 per hour.
