Competitive salary AB Ayudando Familias is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and licensed Registered Mental Health Counselor (RMHC) to join our behavioral health team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups while promoting emotional wellness and recovery. The RMHC will conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals to ensure comprehensive client care. Key Responsibilities Facilitates individual therapy sessions for children and adults. Administers and interprets trauma assessment instruments for child and adolescent victims. Develops individual and Family Therapy sessions. Consults with Mental Health Clinical Director when necessary and appropriate. Qualifications Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field. Registered Mental Health Counselor (RMHC) in the State of Florida or eligibility for registration. Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnoses and evidence-based treatment practices. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently while functioning effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems is preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, or families. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Experience with trauma-informed care, substance use treatment, or community mental health services. Preferred Experience providing outpatient mental health services. Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR). Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Experience working with trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, or severe mental illness.
