Registered Therapist Intern (RMHCI / RMFTI) - Hybrid Lending Ears Therapy Services is seeking a Florida Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) or Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (RMFTI) to join our growing private practice in Fort Lauderdale. This is a part-time, hybrid contract position offering a combination of telehealth and in-person therapy. The role is ideal for a registered intern looking to build a consistent caseload, strengthen clinical skills, and grow within a supportive private-practice environment. Responsibilities Provide individual, couples, and/or family psychotherapy based on training and clinical competency Complete clinical assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required documentation Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the electronic health record Provide telehealth and in-person sessions as scheduled Maintain professional, ethical, and HIPAA-compliant clinical practices Participate in supervision and clinical consultation as required Communicate professionally with clients and practice administration Maintain an appropriate and reliable weekly caseload Qualifications Active Florida Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) or Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (RMFTI) status Master's degree in counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related behavioral health field Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills Comfortable providing psychotherapy independently within the scope of registered-intern practice and supervision Reliable internet connection and private environment for telehealth sessions Ability to provide some in-person availability in Fort Lauderdale Experience with couples, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, or trauma is a plus Schedule Part-time, approximately 10-15 hours per week , with flexibility based on clinician availability and caseload growth.
