Key Responsibilities Deliver evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to individuals, families, and groups across diverse settings, tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs of clients. Conduct thorough assessments to determine the urgency of patients' needs in crisis situations and provide appropriate interventions and resources. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments, incorporating best practice guidelines and the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders V (DSM V) diagnosis criteria. Participate in intake evaluations, performing Integrated Biopsychosocial Assessments to provide a comprehensive understanding of clients' presenting concerns. Patient Population / Client Focus This position emphasizes work with maternal clients, children, and families, significantly impacting community mental health. You will interact with patients from diverse backgrounds, many of whom are dealing with challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. A firm understanding of cultural competencies and social determinants of health is crucial to addressing the needs of these populations effectively. Qualifications A Master's or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited program.
