Work Environment This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while staying connected with our outpatient office team in Mount Vernon, Washington. Key Responsibilities Conduct initial interviews and thorough assessments to craft individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client. Provide ongoing evaluations of client progress through the synthesis of bio-psychosocial information gathered from the clients, their families, and relevant referral sources. Maintain and demonstrate competencies that reflect current standards of mental health practice and chemical dependency knowledge, ensuring high-quality service delivery. Utilize relevant treatment modalities effectively, showcasing a working knowledge of various drug treatment facilities and resources available to clients. Work compassionately with a diverse clientele, ensuring an inclusive and culturally sensitive approach to care. Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, adhering strictly to confidentiality and ethical guidelines. Engage in ongoing professional development activities to continuously enhance your skills and remain updated with emerging trends in mental health care. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be on individuals dealing with mental health challenges and chemical dependencies. We value a client-centered approach that respects the individual journeys of our clients, fostering a therapeutic environment where they can feel secure and supported. Our diverse population may include adolescents, adults, and families, requiring a versatile and tailored approach to care. Qualifications Master's Degree in Social Services, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required. Active and appropriate Washington State licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). A minimum of two years of experience in providing therapeutic services is required. Commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical practice in all communications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective client interactions. Drug-free status with no misuse of alcohol or drugs while employed in this therapist role. Preferred Experience Experience working with diverse populations and a range of mental health issues or substance use disorders. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling practices is advantageous. Background in crisis intervention techniques and evidence-based therapeutic modalities. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of
USD 100,000
to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
