Work Environment This position is designed for a Full-Time Licensed Professional Counselor who will operate in a remote setting, with an outpatient counseling office providing support for various client needs. The remote work model promotes a healthy work-life balance, allowing counselors the flexibility to manage their schedules effectively while accommodating client appointments. Key Responsibilities Conduct initial assessments and thorough evaluations of clients to inform the development of tailored treatment plans. Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions suited for individuals, couples, families, and groups, adapting techniques to each client's specific circumstances. Employ diverse therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy, ensuring the approach aligns with best practices and client needs. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate client care and provide holistic treatment. Maintain accurate clinical documentation which complies with all legal and ethical standards, ensuring a clear record of client progress and therapeutic interventions. Qualifications Possession of a Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field. Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia. A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing counseling services within a mental health setting. Preferred Experience Experience working with diverse populations, including different age groups, cultural backgrounds, and socio-economic statuses. Familiarity with digital health platforms and teletherapy best practices, enhancing the remote counseling experience. Proficiency in using various assessment tools and therapeutic practices to better meet client needs. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from
USD 300,000
to 400,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
