Our team-oriented culture emphasizes collaboration, ensuring you will have access to resources and support as you work with your peers to enhance student wellness. Key Responsibilities Establish a therapeutic rapport with students and families, fostering an environment that is warm, empathetic, and supportive. Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to identify client needs, goals, and personal circumstances. Collaborate with educators and school staff to provide insights and recommendations for enhancing student mental health within the academic setting. Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, treatment plans, and client progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Facilitate referrals to external specialists or community resources when additional support is necessary. Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance practice and maintain a high standard of care in line with current best practices. Patient Population / Client Focus This position focuses on providing mental health services to adolescents in a school environment. You will work with a diverse population, helping students navigate challenges related to personal, academic, and social issues. Your contributions will not only create a supportive atmosphere for individual clients but also foster healthier family dynamics and community relationships by addressing systemic barriers to well-being. Qualifications A master's degree in Social Work (LCSW), Counseling (LMHC), Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), or a closely related field. Valid licensure in Washington State as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Social Worker (LICSW). Proven ability to maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate adherence to ethical practices within mental health services. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients and their families. In-depth knowledge of contemporary counseling techniques, mental health trends, and effective methodologies for individual and family therapy. Preferred Experience A minimum of two years of experience providing mental health counseling or integration services, preferably within a school or community setting. Experience utilizing telehealth technologies for conducting therapy and managing client interactions effectively. A demonstrated ability to adapt interventions to diverse patient needs and environments. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $105,000 annually, which reflects your experience and commitment to enhancing mental health. In addition to salary, you will benefit from flexible work hours, comprehensive training opportunities, and access to mental health resources for both you and your clients.
