Residents receive:

Weekly individual and group supervision Ongoing mentorship and case consultation Practice-sponsored Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) certification Administrative support so you can focus on clinical care Flexible scheduling Opportunities for professional growth While collaboration is central to our culture, we also value clinicians who can work independently, exercise sound clinical judgment, and take initiative. As our practice grows, Residents may have opportunities to mentor counseling students under the guidance of licensed clinicians. Responsibilities Provide outpatient psychotherapy to adolescents and adults. Complete biopsychosocial assessments and individualized treatment plans. Maintain timely and ethical clinical documentation. Participate in supervision, consultation, and ongoing professional development. Deliver compassionate, trauma-informed, evidence-based care. Qualifications Active Virginia Resident in Counseling registration. Master's degree in Counseling or related mental health field. Passion for trauma-informed care and lifelong learning. Strong communication and documentation skills. Ability to work both collaboratively and independently. Interest in mentoring counseling students is valued. EMDR training, experience, or active pursuit of training preferred, but not required.
