We are specifically seeking an individual who is able and willing to work with the life span, including Play Therapy for young children (Play Therapist certification preferred, but not required). We provide referrals, office space, billing, and marketing support, so you can focus on your clinical work. We also offer consult groups, trainings, and professional guidance, so you can work at the top of your game. Beyond Resiliency is also a leader in working with separating and divorcing families, and we have created the Pivot Program which is a collaborative effort between providers and mediators supporting families in transition. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while working within a supportive and innovative environment committed to professional growth. Duties Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards and HIPAA regulations. Provide psychotherapy using evidence-based practices such as play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy tailored to client needs. Facilitate individual, couples, and family therapy sessions to promote emotional well-being and behavioral change. Utilize crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols to support clients experiencing acute mental health crises or co-occurring disorders. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in electronic health records (EHR/EMR), ensuring compliance with
ICD-9/ICD-10
coding standards for diagnoses such as PTSD, autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, and other mental health conditions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on treatment planning, case management, and patient care coordination to optimize client outcomes. Engage in clinical research activities when applicable, contributing to data collection efforts that inform best practices in mental health care. Requirements Must hold an active license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical social worker (LCSW), licensed mental health counselor (LHMC), or Clinical Psychologist (PhD/PsyD). Demonstrated experience working with children, adolescents, adults, or geriatrics across outpatient or inpatient settings. Proficiency in psychotherapy modalities Strong knowledge of medical terminology, clinical documentation standards, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical records management. Experience delivering telehealth therapy services using HIPAA-compliant platforms is highly desirable. Ability to handle crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols. Excellent communication skills for client engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration; commitment to ethical guidelines in clinical practice.
