Description Position Overview Solace of Life Counseling Services is currently searching for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. This position offers a competitive salary ranging from

to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Work Environment This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to provide essential counseling services from the comfort of your home or preferred working environment. Although the role primarily involves remote interactions, our supportive team fosters a collaborative atmosphere, encouraging ongoing communication and connection among colleagues. Additionally, occasional meetings at our outpatient office in Seattle may be required for team activities and professional development. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify co-occurring disorders and the specific therapeutic needs of each client. Develop, implement, and continually revise evidence-based treatment plans that are personalized to align with each client's unique challenges and goals. Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions focusing on addiction recovery, trauma healing, and addressing other significant mental health concerns. Monitor, evaluate, and document clients' progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes. Collaborate effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and addiction specialists, to ensure a well-rounded approach to client care. Educate clients and their families about mental health, addiction, coping strategies, and the recovery process to empower them in their healing journey. Maintain accurate and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical requirements governing mental health practices. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be on individuals struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related issues. You will work with a diverse clientele, each bringing unique stories and challenges, requiring you to employ a tailored and empathetic approach to their treatment. Qualifications A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution. A valid and active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification in the state of Washington. A minimum of 3 years of recent experience providing mental health support, particularly in an outpatient setting. Preferred Experience Specialized training in addiction rehabilitation and trauma-informed care. Experience with evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Familiarity with using telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions.
