Description Position Overview Marina Insight Mental Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Mental Health Counselor to join our team as a full-time employee. Work Environment This role offers a fully remote setting, which promotes flexibility and a healthy work-life balance. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team from various fields including psychiatry, social work, and counseling, offering you a rich source of support and insight. Additionally, you will engage in regular meetings, workshops, and professional development opportunities to advance your skills and knowledge in mental health practices. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to develop tailored treatment plans that meet their specific needs. Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, groups, families, and couples, drawing on techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused methodologies. Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records, ensuring adherence to ethical and legal standards, while documenting client progress in compliance with regulations. Collaborate effectively with other mental health professionals and healthcare providers to ensure integrated and holistic client care. Engage in continuous learning and professional skill enhancement through participation in workshops, seminars, and relevant training programs. Patient Population / Client Focus You will be working with a diverse client base, including individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflicts, and substance use disorders. Our clinic prioritizes serving populations that often have limited access to mental health resources, and as a result, your work will directly contribute to transforming lives and creating healthier communities. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required. Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist in Washington State. A minimum of two years of counseling experience is required, ideally within a clinical setting. Proficient understanding of legal and ethical practices pertinent to mental health counseling. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills necessary for building rapport with a varied clientele. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team is essential. Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and related healthcare technologies is highly desirable. Preferred Experience Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse treatment is strongly preferred. Experience with culturally competent practices and an understanding of the unique challenges faced by underserved populations is advantageous. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from
USD 115,000
to 130,000, commensurate with experience and caseload. Comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance.
