Our services include SUD assessments, Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Outpatient (OP), individual counseling, and care coordination for adults across Washington State, including clients involved with courts and jails. We focus on helping clients quickly access the level of care and support they need. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a small-team, startup environment and is comfortable working independently, without all the systems in place. Because this role is remote, you should be confident using Zoom and other virtual tools. Experience in both group facilitation and SUD assessments. About The Role This is an assessment-focused position and does not include an ongoing counseling caseload or regular group facilitation. You will complete approximately 2-3 assessments per day, including legal, court-related, DUI, and in-custody assessments. You will determine appropriate levels of care, complete timely and accurate clinical documentation, communicate with referral partners when authorized, and help coordinate placement into inpatient or residential treatment when recommended. Responsibilities Conduct Approximately 2-3 SUD assessments per day via telehealth. Conduct legal, court-related, DUI, and in-custody assessments, including assessments for individuals located in jails and correctional settings. Use ASAM criteria to determine diagnoses, level of care, and appropriate treatment recommendations. Review relevant clinical, substance use, legal, driving, treatment, and collateral information as part of the assessment process. Produce clear, accurate, objective, and legally defensible assessments that may be reviewed by courts, attorneys, probation officers, correctional facilities, and other referral partners. Complete assessments and all required documentation within established quality and turnaround-time expectations. When residential or inpatient treatment is recommended, identify appropriate programs, locate available beds, and coordinate admission and placement. Communicate and coordinate with jails, courts, probation, attorneys, treatment providers, clients, and referral partners to facilitate appropriatetreatment and continuity of care. Attend weekly meetings with supervisors, peers, and leadership. Respond to all email and Teams communications quickly to ensure clear and timely collaboration. Model professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical boundaries in all client and team interactions.
