Intake Diagnostic evaluation Master's degree Full Job Description The Hallowell Todaro ADHD & Behavioral Health Center is one of the first ADHD centers in the U.S. to provide all services associated with ADHD under one roof: assessment, medication management, coaching, therapy, and educational therapy. We are using the strengths-based approach, pioneered by our co- founder, Dr.
ADHD 2.0.
Our team is currently looking for fully licensed therapists, counselors, social workers, and/or psychologists with experience in assessment and diagnosing, treating children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples with ADHD and/or other mental health challenges. This work can be done on a part-time (minimum of 10 hours) or full-time basis; hybrid in person and some remote work. The work environment is based on a combination of private practice and group practice, allowing providers to: Focus on client care, leaving our administrative team to handle scheduling, billing, and other non-clinical tasks; Set their own working hours, allowing for more autonomy of their schedules, supporting a healthy work / life balance; Connect and collaborate with our diverse group of clinicians in person, through coordination of care for shared clients, through case consult, and other group events; Access continuing education, trainings, and professional development opportunities year round Role & Expectations Provide initial diagnostic evaluations, screenings, and assessments for new clients seeking diagnosis and ongoing services. Intakes will be done both virtually and in person in our Bellingham office. Listen to clients' experiences and help identify any existing mental health challenges, including underlying and co-existing conditions. Work with clients, and parent/guardians if necessary, to develop individualized coping strategies, set goals, and achieve better outcomes. Educate clients and, in some cases, their families on the nature of their challenges, the causes, the different treatment options, and relevant scientific knowledge on the subject. When necessary, communicate with family members, teachers, physicians and others as part of a comprehensive care plan.
