Our center specializes in Culinary Arts, Welding, Electronics Engineering, and Certified Medical Assistant training.

Salary:

$80k annually Here is the schedule for this role: Monday

• Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm Advises the Center Director and health and wellness staff on all student mental health matters Provides consultation on the development of a system to promote the coordination and integration of the mental health and wellness program with other Center programs and activities such as counseling, residential life, and recreation Advises and assists the wellness course instructors regarding mental health and wellness services during student introduction to Center life Assists with program development for the purpose of meeting the life crises of students in constructive ways which includes career preparation, development, and transition periods Advises the Center Director on the advisability of students' separations for mental health reasons and the cost of mental health services, including inpatient facility use Ensures the maintenance, confidentiality, and safeguarding of all necessary mental health records Provides diagnostic and evaluative services to students as necessary Provides limited forms of psychiatric treatment including crisis intervention, brief psychotherapy, intermittent supportive psychotherapy, psychotropic drug management and group psychotherapy, as permitted by licensure or accreditation Provides appropriate referrals for students who must be separated for mental health reasons Provides clinical assistance to students and the drug and alcohol specialist, especially with students who may have co-morbid psychiatric and substance abuse disorders Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree required Must be a Clinical/Counseling Psychologist or Clinical Social Worker with an active, unrestricted license to practice as an independent practitioner in the state of Rhode Island Two years of experience in diagnostic assessment and therapy services with youth and young adults strongly preferred "Adams and Associates, Inc. abides by the requirements of 41 CFR §§ 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
