In this vital role, you will provide expert psychotherapy and counseling services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and individuals with developmental disabilities. Your expertise will help clients navigate complex emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges through evidence-based practices and empathetic support. Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately identify client needs. Deliver individual, couples, and family therapy sessions employing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis. Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage urgent mental health situations effectively while ensuring client safety. Provide specialized counseling services including grief counseling, addiction counseling, PTSD care, gender issues counseling, and chronic pain management. Maintain meticulous medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations while utilizing CPT coding for billing purposes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for case management, patient assessment, and treatment planning to optimize client outcomes. Engage in clinical research initiatives and data collection efforts to support ongoing program development and quality improvement efforts. Proven expertise in psychotherapy techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Strong working knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems for accurate diagnosis documentation. Experience with telehealth platforms to deliver remote mental health services effectively. Skilled in crisis management, crisis intervention, behavior management, and social work principles within inpatient or outpatient settings. Ability to work with children, adolescents, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), geriatrics, and patients facing complex mental health issues such as PTSD or grief. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation standards, HIPAA compliance, and electronic health record systems. Excellent communication skills for intake assessments, patient care planning, group therapy facilitation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
