This role combines direct clinical care with supervision and mentorship of provisionally licensed counselors. The ideal candidate is a skilled, collaborative clinician who demonstrates sound clinical judgment, strong ethical standards, and a commitment to supporting both client care and clinician development. Therapy may include adults, adolescents, couples, and/or families based on the clinician's interests and areas of specialization. Key Responsibilities Clinical Practice Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide individual, couples, family, and/or adolescent psychotherapy using evidence-based approaches. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment as clinically appropriate. Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation. Collaborate with other professionals as appropriate to support continuity of care. Uphold ethical, legal, licensing, and professional standards. Clinical Supervision & Leadership Provide clinical supervision to provisionally licensed counselors in accordance with South Dakota licensing requirements. Support supervisees with case conceptualization, diagnosis, treatment planning, documentation, interventions, and ethical decision-making. Review clinical documentation and provide constructive feedback to support quality and compliance. Provide consultation on complex cases, clinical risk, boundaries, and ethical concerns. Promote clinician growth, accountability, and readiness for independent practice. Maintain required supervision records and collaborate with practice leadership regarding clinical quality and clinician development.
