Overview Through the Fire Counseling is a growing outpatient mental health practice in Tullahoma, Tennessee. We are seeking a fully licensed mental health therapist (LPC-MHSP, LCSW, or LMFT) to join our practice as a full-time W-2 clinician. We are looking for a dependable, clinically skilled therapist who values quality client care, professional autonomy, collaboration, and a sustainable work-life balance. Salary:

$68,000-$72,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities Provide individual outpatient psychotherapy within the clinician's areas of competence and scope of practice. Conduct initial clinical assessments and establish appropriate diagnoses when clinically indicated. Develop individualized treatment plans and update them as appropriate based on client progress and clinical need. Provide evidence-based and evidence-informed treatment appropriate to each client's presenting concerns. Maintain accurate, timely, and clinically appropriate progress notes, assessments, treatment plans, and other required documentation. Maintain an established caseload with an expectation of approximately 25 completed client sessions per clinical week once a full caseload has been developed. Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals and community resources when clinically appropriate and authorized by the client. Identify and respond appropriately to client safety concerns and follow established procedures for higher levels of care when necessary. Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, professional ethical standards, payer requirements, Tennessee law, and Through the Fire Counseling policies. Participate in staff meetings, consultation, professional development, and other practice activities as appropriate. Maintain professional, timely, and dependable communication with clients and Through the Fire Counseling staff. Contribute to a supportive, collaborative, and professional practice environment.

Qualifications Required:

Current, unrestricted Tennessee license permitting independent clinical practice as an:

LPC-MHSP, LCSW, LMFT

Master's degree or higher in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or another qualifying mental health discipline. Ability to provide psychotherapy independently within the clinician's Tennessee scope of practice. Ability to meet insurance credentialing requirements for the payer networks utilized by Through the Fire Counseling. Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and interpersonal skills. Sound ethical judgment and professional boundaries. Ability to manage a clinical schedule and documentation responsibilities independently. Consistent reliability, communication, and follow-through.

Preferred:

Previous outpatient mental health or private-practice experience. Current or previous credentialing with commercial insurance networks. Training or experience in one or more areas that complement Through the Fire Counseling's existing clinical services. Interest in contributing to the continued growth and development of a small private practice. Existing insurance credentialing is helpful but is not required . Schedule & Caseload This is a full-time position with an expected caseload of approximately 25 completed sessions per clinical week once fully established . Through the Fire Counseling recognizes the importance of maintaining a sustainable clinical schedule and offers flexibility in structuring the workweek, including the potential for a four-day workweek . Clinicians are expected to provide at least one evening of availability per week to accommodate client scheduling needs. Through the Fire Counseling will assist with insurance credentialing and caseload development as the clinician transitions into the practice.
