Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic mental health team as an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) Associate, where you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate, evidence-based mental health services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work across diverse clinical settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient facilities, and telehealth platforms. As an LPC Associate, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care, conduct diagnostic evaluations, and develop personalized treatment plans. Your dedication will help empower individuals and families to achieve mental wellness and resilience. Duties Conduct intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately document patient conditions. Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions incorporating therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure patient safety during acute episodes. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to foster motivation for change and enhance treatment engagement. Manage behavioral health cases by developing behavior management plans and supporting patients with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Document all patient interactions thoroughly in compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical records using appropriate medical terminology. Collaborate with medical professionals on medication management and psychopharmacology considerations when applicable. Participate in clinical research projects and data collection efforts to improve treatment outcomes. Engage in telehealth sessions to expand access to care for diverse populations across various settings including pediatrics, geriatrics, and addiction counseling. Experience Previous experience working in outpatient or inpatient behavioral health settings with a focus on mental health counseling or clinical social work. Hands-on experience with crisis management, behavior management, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges. Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical documentation standards. Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health and mental health disorders. Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations for conditions such as PTSD, grief issues, chronic pain, or gender-related counseling topics. Proficiency in delivering evidence-based therapies including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, group therapy, and addiction counseling. Telehealth experience is highly desirable to support remote patient care delivery effectively. Pay:
