• Private Residence We are seeking a mature, dependable, and highly professional individual to provide in-home support and observation for a private family with school-aged and teenage children.

The ideal candidate will be calm, objective, discreet, and comfortable working in a private home environment. This role requires excellent judgment, strong professional boundaries, and the ability to accurately document significant events without inserting personal opinions or assumptions.

Responsibilities will include:

Being present in the family home during scheduled periods, including an alternating-week schedule. Providing a calm, neutral adult presence while children are in the home. Observing interactions and activities within the household. Objectively documenting significant incidents involving behavior, conflicts, property damage, or safety concerns. Recording relevant dates, times, individuals present, and firsthand observations in a clear and factual manner. Helping maintain a calm and safe environment without assuming a parental or disciplinary role. Seeking appropriate assistance if an immediate safety concern arises. Preparing concise written observation summaries. Maintaining strict confidentiality regarding the family, children, residence, and all information learned during employment. Remaining neutral and professional at all times and avoiding involvement in family disagreements. Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is dependable, emotionally mature, observant, and able to remain calm during challenging situations. Experience working with teenagers, children, or families is strongly preferred. Ideally, the candidate will have experience as a Guardian ad Litem in court cases Candidates with backgrounds in social work, behavioral health, education, child development, family services, mediation, case management, law enforcement, or similar fields may be particularly well suited for this position. Because this is a position of trust within a private residence, discretion, confidentiality, accurate documentation, professional boundaries, and reliability are essential. A background check and professional references may be required. Additional details regarding the family's specific needs and circumstances will be discussed confidentially with qualified candidates.
