This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities. You will provide direct patient care through individual, group, and family therapy sessions, ensuring compassionate support and effective treatment planning. Our goal is to empower clients on their journey toward mental wellness while maintaining clinical excellence in a collaborative environment. Duties Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to develop personalized treatment plans. Provide evidence-based psychotherapy such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavior management techniques tailored to client needs. Facilitate individual, group, and family counseling sessions with a focus on child & youth therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and gender issues counseling. Implement crisis intervention strategies and manage acute situations effectively to ensure client safety and well-being. Document all clinical interactions accurately in electronic health records (EHR/EMR), adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including case managers, medical professionals, and educators to coordinate comprehensive care for clients with co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities. Engage in ongoing research and case management activities to enhance treatment outcomes and stay current with best practices in behavioral health. Skills Proven expertise in psychotherapy techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Strong experience working with children, adolescents, individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, and geriatrics. Skilled in crisis management, trauma-informed care—including PTSD care—and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate diagnosis documentation; experience with CPT coding is a plus. Excellent patient assessment skills combined with the ability to develop effective treatment plans aligned with clinical ethical guidelines. Proficiency in telehealth therapy platforms and experience working within outpatient or inpatient settings. Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health conditions and treatments; experience working with medical records is preferred. Ability to conduct mental health assessments, facilitate group therapy sessions, and support clients through grief or chronic pain counseling. Commitment to evidence-based practice standards while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards.
