Work Environment In this remote role, you will work from the comfort of your own home while connecting with clients through teletherapy sessions. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs and develop tailored therapy strategies. Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, families, and groups using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. Practice in accordance with ethical and legal standards, maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical records. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and physicians, to ensure holistic client care. Engage in professional development activities, such as workshops and seminars, to stay updated on the latest trends in mental health treatment. Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily be serving clients facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Many of our clients come from underserved communities and may have limited access to mental health resources. Your role will significantly impact their journey towards emotional stability and personal development. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required. Active and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential in the state of Texas. Minimum two years of clinical experience in counseling, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic techniques. Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards related to counseling practices. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with a diverse clientele. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare team environment. Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and related documentation technologies. Preferred Experience Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance use disorders, or trauma-informed care is strongly preferred. Experience with underserved populations is highly advantageous. An ongoing commitment to professional development in mental health literacy and practices. Compensation and Benefits This full-time LPC position offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, depending on experience and caseload.
