This role is ideal for a motivated clinician seeking supervision, mentorship, and hands-on counseling experience while making a meaningful impact in the lives of adolescent girls and their families. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans. Provide individual, group, child & family counseling, and psychotherapy utilizing techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and motivational interviewing. Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage urgent situations effectively and ensure client safety. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care, including case management and medical documentation aligned with HIPAA regulations. Engage in diagnostic evaluations using

ICD-10/ICD-9

coding systems for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Support clients with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder through specialized behavioral management techniques and special education strategies. Maintain detailed medical records, document patient progress, and ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards related to mental health counseling. Qualifications Current licensure or registration as an LPC-A with relevant state licensing boards. Experience working with children, individuals with disabilities, or in pediatric settings is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of crisis management, addiction counseling, social work principles, and mental health diagnostics. Proficiency in medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD coding systems (ICD-10/ICD-9), and medical record keeping. Demonstrated skills in motivational interviewing, behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities. Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and deliver effective individual/group counseling sessions. Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to patient care.
