Responsibilities Ability to work with children starting at age 4 Determine client needs and create treatment plans with LPC Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards Provide direct support through individual skill building focused on mental health counseling, grief counseling, behavior management, and social work interventions Utilize crisis intervention techniques to manage acute situations effectively while ensuring client safety and well-being Maintain accurate clinical documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as EMR/EHR platforms Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on inpatient and outpatient care plans for individuals with complex needs such as PTSD care, addiction counseling, or chronic pain management Experience Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or Related Field QMHP Certified Experiance working with children ages 4 years old and older Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or adults in clinical or outpatient settings with a focus on mental health counseling or psychotherapy Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is highly desirable Knowledge of evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and trauma-focused approaches Ability to handle sensitive situations involving diversity issues and Geriatrics populations with professionalism and empathy Strong understanding of clinical documentation standards within HIPAA-compliant environments along with familiarity in ICD coding for accurate diagnosis reporting Join us if you are passionate about delivering impactful mental health care through innovative approaches!
