Job Description

Operation True North is a 501C3 non-profit organization that provides counseling and peer support groups for veterans, first responders, medical workers and their families. We are looking for someone who is extremely passionate about our mission and the community we are providing services to.
Duties:
  • Conduct therapy sessions with individuals or groups using various therapeutic techniques such as talk therapy, CBT, EMDR, DBT, CPT as well as other specalties.
  • Collect and analyze data to assess clients' needs and progress.
  • Develop treatment plans based on clients' goals and needs.
  • Provide counseling and support to clients dealing with PTSD and other mental health concerns
  • Stay updated on the latest research and developments in the field of psychotherapy and clinical research.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to clients.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field.
  • Valid license or certification as a therapist.
  • Experience in providing therapy to individuals with diverse backgrounds and needs.
  • Knowledge of different therapeutic techniques, including
CBT, EMDR, DBT, CPT
as well as other specalties.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
