Job Overview Blooming Counseling Center in McAllen, TX, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our growing team. This role involves providing psychotherapy to individuals across the lifespan to address concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide psychotherapy and counseling services using evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, EMDR, or trauma-informed care. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including intake forms, progress notes, and treatment plans. Utilize EMR systems for efficient record-keeping and data collection related to client care outcomes. Collaborate with colleagues for case consultation and client care coordination as needed. Maintain professionalism, strong therapeutic boundaries, and a consistent caseload. Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and maintain licensure. Qualifications Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related mental health field from an accredited institution; current LPC or LCSW licensure required. Experience or interest in trauma-informed therapy, EMDR, or working with children/adolescents is a plus. Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and medical records management. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds. Experience in crisis intervention strategies and managing acute mental health situations effectively. Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-centered practice culture.

Base Pay:

$55.00 - $80.00 per hour
