Medications for Opioid Use Disorder/ LCDC or LCDCi Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various therapeutic techniques and demonstrate a commitment to supporting individuals through their mental health and emotional challenges. The Counselor will provide clinical counseling services, conduct patient assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans while fostering a safe and supportive environment for clients. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and develop appropriate treatment plans. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing, to support clients in achieving their goals. Provide crisis intervention services to individuals experiencing acute distress or emergencies. Engage in Child Family Counseling when necessary, ensuring a holistic approach to family dynamics. Implement case management strategies to coordinate care and resources for clients. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, treatment progress, and case notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients with diverse needs, including those facing addiction issues. Offer ongoing support and guidance to clients through regular counseling sessions, fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship. Qualifications Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. Valid state licensure or certification as a Counselor or Therapist. Experience in clinical counseling settings preferred, with knowledge of addiction medicine being an asset. Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and patient care best practices. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse populations. Familiarity with case management processes and resources available for client support.
