Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled

QMHP-A/C

(Adult/Child) to provide immediate support and intervention to individuals experiencing emotional distress or crisis situations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of behavioral health principles and be adept at navigating acute care environments. This role requires a commitment to confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA regulations while delivering high-quality care to clients in need. Duties Provide crisis intervention and support to individuals in distress, utilizing effective communication and active listening skills. Assess client needs and develop appropriate intervention strategies, including safety planning and referrals to additional services. Complete daily progress notes and submit within 24 hrs Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including those in hospital settings and insurance providers, to coordinate care for clients requiring acute interventions. Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in crisis counseling. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. Familiarity with behavioral health concepts, medical terminology, and crisis intervention techniques. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with clients from diverse backgrounds. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining composure and professionalism. Commitment to ethical practices and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
