In this role, your clinical expertise will be the guiding light for individuals seeking to overcome substance use challenges and underlying mental health issues. Key Responsibilities:
Manage an individual caseload. Build professional, secure relationships with clients, upholding boundaries, ethics, and confidentiality. Conduct comprehensive assessments using a Bio-Psycho-Social approach to diagnose addictive and mental health disorders accurately. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to client goals. Facilitate therapeutic groups. Collaborate with the treatment team to recommend appropriate levels of care.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field. Current Virginia State License/Certification as a CSAC, LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent; or active registration in Virginia under supervision to obtain licensure. Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to ethical client care. Experience with EMR systems and knowledge of therapeutic best practices Experience with substance use treatment is a plus.
