This dynamic position offers the opportunity to deliver evidence-based therapies, conduct thorough assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans that foster recovery and resilience. This paid position is ideal for professionals passionate about advancing mental health and supporting individuals across the lifespan. Responsibilities Conduct detailed mental health assessments utilizing clinical documentation standards, ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions addressing issues like grief, trauma, PTSD, addiction, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, gender issues, and chronic pain management. Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to deliver clinical counseling and crisis intervention services while adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines. Manage case documentation with accuracy in electronic health records (EHR/EMR), ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards and legal requirements for medical records. Engage in crisis management and crisis intervention strategies to support clients experiencing acute mental health episodes or co-occurring disorders. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on treatment planning, patient care coordination, and social work initiatives to optimize client outcomes. Conduct mental health assessments for diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized care such as PTSD or trauma recovery. Participate in clinical research projects or data collection efforts aimed at improving behavioral health practices and outcomes. Experience Proven experience working with children, adolescents, adults, or geriatrics within outpatient or inpatient settings. Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and trauma-focused approaches. Strong background in crisis management, crisis intervention techniques, behavior management strategies, and addiction counseling. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders is highly desirable. Familiarity with telehealth therapy platforms and delivering clinical services remotely while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Knowledge of ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate diagnosis documentation; experience with medical terminology and medical records management preferred. Ability to work effectively within clinical documentation standards and treatment planning protocols aligned with healthcare regulations. Previous involvement in clinical research or data collection initiatives related to mental health is a plus.
