Job Overview:
  • We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Qualified Mental Health Professional for Children(QMHP-C) to join our team.
As a QMHP-C, you will play a crucial role in providing mental health services to individuals in need. This position requires expertise in crisis management, clinic operations, PTSD care, special education, patient care, medical documentation, crisis intervention, ICD-9 coding, gender issues counseling, and social work.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and develop Individual Service Plans.
  • Provide crisis intervention services to clients who are at risk of harming themselves or others.
  • Deliver patient care services with empathy and professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation following regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Offer counseling and support for individuals dealing with gender-related issues.
  • Utilize expertise in special education to support clients with diverse needs.
  • Implement crisis management strategies to de-escalate challenging situations effectively.
  • Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
  • Certification as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP-C).
  • Proven experience in providing mental health services in a clinical setting.
  • Familiarity with ICD-9 coding and medical documentation practices.
  • Strong understanding of crisis intervention techniques and protocols.
  • Ability to address gender-related issues sensitively and effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
