We are seeking a Group Facilitator to join our clinical team at an inpatient substance use disorder (SUD) treatment facility. This position is responsible for facilitating structured psychoeducational, recovery-focused, and skills-based groups designed to support patients throughout the treatment and recovery process. The ideal candidate has experience working with the substance abuse/behavioral health population , strong group facilitation skills, and the ability to create an engaging, structured, and therapeutic environment.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm, rotating weekends Responsibilities Facilitate structured psychoeducational, recovery-focused, and approved therapeutic groups. Educate patients on recovery principles, relapse prevention, coping skills, and healthy behaviors. Encourage patient engagement, accountability, and appropriate participation within groups. Utilize evidence-informed and experiential techniques to enhance learning and engagement. Manage group dynamics while maintaining professional boundaries and program expectations. Document group participation and patient progress accurately and timely in the EMR. Communicate patient progress, concerns, and behavioral observations to the multidisciplinary treatment team. Participate in treatment team meetings and collaborate with clinical, medical, and operations staff. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all facility policies, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Human Services, or a related behavioral health field preferred. Candidates actively pursuing a qualifying behavioral health degree may be considered when appropriate clinical supervision is available. Master's-level clinicians working toward independent licensure are encouraged to apply. 1+ year of experience in behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, or a related human services setting preferred. Previous experience facilitating groups, psychoeducation, or skills-based programming preferred. Residential, detox, or inpatient substance abuse treatment experience is highly desirable. Current behavioral health credential or licensure appropriate to scope of practice preferred (e.g., LPC, CSAC ). Strong communication, documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Preferred Experience Candidates with previous experience working directly with adults in substance abuse treatment, detoxification, residential treatment, or other inpatient behavioral health settings are strongly encouraged to apply.
