Job Description

We are seeking individuals who have a passion for service toward others and enjoy working with children to be considered for a Support Staff role in our School-Based Mental Health Programs in Campbell County.
Support Staff Description:
Provide supportive interventions in a school setting to clients in the Social, Emotional and Behavioral Support Program. Interact directly with clients Monitor client's progress and regression as detailed in Goal Summary Plan and implement weekly psycho-educational groups Document daily interventions, weekly parent contacts, collateral contacts, discharge summaries, and other necessary documents Collaborate with the site supervisor and communicate with school administration, teachers, and parents/guardians of clients Coordinate with site supervisor if school personnel recommends student for services Implement client-specific strategies set forth in Goal Summary Attend face-to-face supervision with Licensed Supervisor or Resident in Counseling Attend monthly trainings Provide transportation as needed Adapt to new opportunities/environments in which treatment can be provided (floater position if/when needed) Support Staff Candidates should have the following skills and abilities: Must have strong therapeutic intervention skills, interpersonal skills, leadership skills, observation and documentation skills necessary Must be able to work school schedule, daytime during the summer, and some holidays Must have a valid driver's license Must be willing to participate in Harvest Outreach meetings and trainings, including first aid, CPR, and Safety Care Our Support Staff provide a critical service to our clients in our School-Based Mental Health Services in Campbell County. An interest or background in psychology, human services, or mental health services is beneficial, but not required.
