We are seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable, and engaging Group Facilitator (CSAC) to join our substance use treatment team. The ideal candidate will have strong group facilitation skills, a recovery-focused approach, and a genuine passion for helping individuals develop the tools they need to achieve and maintain sobriety. Position Overview The Group Facilitator will lead structured, recovery-oriented groups for individuals receiving substance use treatment. This role involves creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can develop insight, coping skills, relapse-prevention strategies, and healthy recovery practices. Key Responsibilities Facilitate engaging, educational, and therapeutic substance use recovery groups Develop and deliver group topics related to recovery, relapse prevention, coping skills, communication, life skills, and wellness Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive group environment Encourage client participation and meaningful peer interaction Use evidence-informed and recovery-oriented approaches when facilitating groups Recognize and respond appropriately to client needs and behavioral concerns Collaborate with counselors, case managers, peer support staff, and clinical leadership Document group participation, client engagement, and other required information accurately and promptly Maintain professional boundaries and client confidentiality Follow facility policies, clinical guidelines, and applicable regulations Participate in treatment-team meetings, staff trainings, supervision, and continuing education Support clients in developing healthy coping strategies and recovery skills Qualifications CSAC credential required Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders preferred Experience facilitating groups in a behavioral health or substance use treatment setting preferred Strong understanding of addiction, recovery, relapse prevention, and behavioral health Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries Compassionate, nonjudgmental, and trauma-informed approach Strong documentation and organizational skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team

Pay:

$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
