Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality care to individuals facing various mental health challenges. This role involves working closely with clients to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing support through therapeutic interventions. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs. Provide individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices. Offer chronic pain counseling and grief counseling as part of holistic treatment approaches. Engage in case management activities to coordinate care and resources for clients. Implement behavioral therapy techniques tailored to individual client goals. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care for clients in inpatient settings. Participate in clinical research initiatives aimed at improving mental health treatment methodologies. Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting progress and treatment outcomes. Skills Strong knowledge of mental health counseling principles and practices. Proficiency in chronic pain counseling and grief counseling techniques. Experience in case management and coordinating care for diverse populations. Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations effectively. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including behavioral therapy and Christian counseling. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients. Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple cases simultaneously while ensuring quality care. Commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of mental health.
