This full-time contract opportunity supports students in the Virginia Beach area, providing services primarily on a 1:1 basis—most often with elementary-age learners. As part of a collaborative group of education professionals, you'll use your interpreting skills to ensure equal access to academics, activities, and everyday engagement for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing students. This position follows the typical school schedule, offering 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during the school year from late August to mid-June. Assignments are flexible, and while you'll be matched to specific students, you may also help cover additional locations as needed when students are absent. There are no virtual or hybrid options—the role is entirely onsite to foster genuine, in-person connections.
