Role:
Candis Inc is looking for a passionate and dedicated Licensed Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to join our growing team in Roanoke, VA. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals navigating mental health challenges while working within a supportive and mission-driven organization.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Provide direct clinical services including individual, group, and family therapy Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, case managers, and community resources Ensure services align with Virginia DBHDS regulations and best practices in behavioral health Participate in crisis intervention and safety planning as needed
Requirements:
Active Virginia license as a LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent QMHP-eligible credential Meet Virginia's QMHP qualifications as defined by DBHDS standards Experience in mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning Strong knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and evidence-based therapeutic modalities Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and collaboration Ability to work independently as well as within a team-oriented environment Compassionate, client-centered approach with a commitment to ethical practice
