Job Description

We are seeking a contract clinician to facilitate group addiction treatment services and intensive outpatient program. This is a contract position and is not a full-time or part-time role. We know that recovery is not merely about overcoming addiction—it is about rebuilding lives. Thus, Anderson Treatment is committed to treating addiction with compassion and care given to each and every client. The Contract Clinician offers the opportunity to provide quality care in a dynamic and team-oriented outpatient substance use disorder treatment setting helping individuals along the path of long-term recovery. The Clinician will work as a part of a multi-functioning team that operates interdependently with each other.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead group therapy sessions for patients participating in IOP within the context of a transitional living residential recovery environment. Facilitate therapeutic and psychoeducational activities and complete corresponding documentation. Accurately document patient participation, behaviors, progress, and needs in the internal EHR. Effectively use deescalation skills to maintain a safe and calm milieu at all times. Collaborate with other clinical staff in response to patient issues or concerns as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
(KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND
ABILITIES
) Master's degree in social work, counseling or a related field or Bachelor's degree in human services field. Valid Virginia state licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, CSAC etc), licensed from a state with reciprocity with Virginia or license-eligible in Virginia or seeking license/certification. Strong knowledge of clinical counseling techniques. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Understanding of
HIPAA/42CFR
regulations and commitment to patient confidentiality.
Pay:
