In this role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services, including psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and case management, to diverse populations. Your expertise will help individuals and families navigate emotional challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve their wellness goals. Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to determine client needs. Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, and behavioral therapy. Provide individual, group, child & youth therapy, and family counseling sessions to promote emotional resilience and behavioral change. Deliver crisis management and intervention services to de-escalate urgent situations effectively while ensuring client safety. Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA, clinical documentation standards, and medical records regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management, treatment planning, and patient care coordination across inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth platforms. Engage in ongoing research, data collection, and clinical research activities to enhance treatment outcomes and stay current with best practices. Requirements Valid LMHP license or equivalent certification in the state of practice. Proven experience working with children, adolescents, individuals with developmental disabilities, co-occurring disorders, or autism spectrum disorder. Strong knowledge of psychotherapeutic modalities including psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Experience with crisis intervention, trauma-focused therapy for PTSD care, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and gender issues counseling preferred. Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10), EMR/EHR systems for clinical documentation and medical terminology. Ability to conduct mental health assessments using diagnostic tools while adhering to clinical ethical guidelines and HIPAA regulations. Excellent communication skills for client engagement and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. Experience working in outpatient clinics or hospital settings with a focus on behavioral health or pediatrics is highly desirable.
