In this vital role, you will provide high-quality outpatient psychotherapy services to diverse client populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. Your expertise will help individuals navigate mental health challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve their personal goals. This position offers an engaging environment where you can utilize evidence-based practices, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and make a meaningful difference in clients' lives through compassionate care and innovative treatment approaches. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to determine client needs. Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, behavior management, and psychodynamic therapy. Provide individual, group, family, and child/youth therapy sessions Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver remote therapy sessions while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation including progress notes, treatment plans, medical records, and billing information following clinical ethical guidelines. Qualifications Master's degree or higher in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related mental health field from an accredited institution. Valid licensure or certification as an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), or equivalent. Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or adults in outpatient settings. Strong knowledge of clinical documentation standards, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems. Skilled in various therapeutic modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy for PTSD care, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and behavior management techniques. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations; experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is highly desirable. Ability to handle crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention strategies; experience working with co-occurring disorders is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health conditions; familiarity with telehealth therapy platforms is advantageous.
