About RWC Recovery & Wellness Center of Eastern Washington is growing! Established in 2015, RWC is the area's first treatment facility providing Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Programs for the treatment of Eating Disorders. We remain the only treatment center offering this level of care within a 250-mile radius. In addition to our Eating Disorder programs, we provide intensive outpatient group therapy programs for individuals experiencing depression and anxiety. Position Overview We are seeking an Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC) at the certified or licensed level to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in behavioral health and be comfortable working with individuals across a variety of mental health needs, including eating disorders, depression, and anxiety. This position will be cross-trained across RWC programs and will participate in providing individual and group services, care coordination, treatment planning, and other clinical responsibilities within the scope of their credential and training. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide individual and group counseling services within the scope of credentialing, training, and supervision requirements. Conduct clinical assessments and assist with treatment planning as appropriate. Develop and coordinate individualized treatment goals and interventions. Facilitate therapeutic, psychoeducational, and skills-based groups. Participate in weekly treatment team meetings and communicate client progress, concerns, and barriers to treatment. Provide case management and coordinate appropriate community and ancillary services. Monitor client progress and make recommendations regarding ongoing treatment needs. Build strong therapeutic rapport with clients and support engagement and motivation throughout treatment. Participate in crisis intervention and safety planning as appropriate. Complete clinical documentation, progress notes, group notes, treatment plans, and other required paperwork accurately and timely. Participate in clinical reviews and assist with utilization review and insurance authorization processes as appropriate. Assist with discharge planning, aftercare planning, and coordination with outside providers. Maintain communication with families, referral sources, outside providers, and other members of the treatment team as appropriate. Communicate safety concerns and complete mandated reporting as required. Participate in clinical supervision, staff meetings, in-service training, and ongoing professional development. Become cross-trained and provide support across RWC's programs as needed. Contribute to curriculum development, group programming, and continuous quality improvement. Maintain compliance with Washington State regulations, RWC policies, and clinical documentation requirements.

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Behavioral Health, Human Services, or a related field. Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC) credential at the certified or licensed level. Experience working in mental health or behavioral health. Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Ability to maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and ethical standards.

Preferred:

Experience working with eating disorders, depression, anxiety, or other behavioral health conditions. Experience working in PHP, IOP, residential, or other higher levels of care. Experience facilitating individual and group therapy. Master's degree or currently working toward a master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
