Job Description

The Psy Center | Ballard, WA The Psy Center is seeking a fully licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and/or Licensed Psychologist to join our growing clinical team and provide individual psychotherapy services. We are specifically seeking an independently licensed clinician who does not require supervision toward licensure . This position is ideal for a clinician who enjoys providing ongoing psychotherapy and would like to work within a collaborative psychological practice. Position Responsibilities Provide individual psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults based on areas of competency and interest Conduct initial clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Provide evidence-based psychotherapy based on client needs Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Coordinate care with psychologists, medical providers, schools, and other professionals when clinically appropriate Maintain appropriate professional and ethical standards Participate in practice communication and care coordination as needed Manage an assigned therapy caseload Maintain reliable and consistent attendance and arrive prepared for scheduled workdays and client appointments. Demonstrate a strong commitment to showing up consistently for clients and the clinical team .
Minimum Qualifications Applicants must:
Hold an active Washington State LMHC or Psychologist license Be fully licensed for independent practice Not require clinical supervision toward licensure Hold all education and training required for their professional license Have experience providing psychotherapy and/or behavioral health treatment Maintain professional liability coverage as required Be comfortable maintaining clinical documentation and treatment plans Demonstrate strong communication, organization, and professional judgment Please note: We are not currently seeking LMHC Associates or other associate-level clinicians for this position. Preferred Experience We welcome applicants with experience or specialized training in one or more of the following areas: Anxiety and depression Trauma and
PTSD ADHD
Autism and neurodivergence Mood disorders Behavioral concerns Children and adolescents Adult psychotherapy Couples or family therapy DBT, CBT, ACT, CPT, or other evidence-based treatment approaches Complex clinical presentations About The Psy Center The Psy Center is a growing psychological practice serving clients in Washington through our Ballard and Bremerton locations , as well as telehealth. Our practice provides psychological and neuropsychological evaluations and is expanding access to ongoing psychotherapy services. The therapist will have the opportunity to work alongside psychologists and other behavioral health professionals while developing a therapy caseload within their areas of clinical expertise. Schedule We are interested in clinicians seeking part-time into full-time work . Scheduling may be discussed based on clinician availability and the needs of the practice. Location Ballard, Seattle, WA Bremerton, WA Telehealth opportunities may also be available License Requirement Washington State LMHC or Licensed Psychologist (Required) Candidates must already hold an independent professional license. This position is not intended to provide supervision toward initial licensure.
