standards. Provide individual and group substance use disorder counseling, education, and recovery-focused services. Facilitate outpatient treatment groups and assist in the development and implementation of treatment curricula. Monitor client progress, update treatment plans, conduct service plan reviews, clinical staffing, discharge planning, and discharge summaries. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation, including progress notes, attendance records, and billing documentation. Collaborate with clients, families, community partners, and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care and support positive outcomes. Recognize and respond appropriately to substance withdrawal symptoms, relapse risks, and treatment barriers. Collect random urine drug screens as required. Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations, including confidentiality requirements. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, continuing education, and agency meetings. Education/Experience:

to perform this job successfully, an individual must have: Must have a BA degree in behavioral health related studies, or an AA degree in addiction studies and equivalent experience, and meet the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) requirements for a qualified Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) as per Chapter 18.205 RCW and

WAC 246-811

Minimum 2 years of continuous working experience as a Substance Use Professional in an outpatient, inpatient, or co-occurring substance use treatment facility.

Certificates/Licenses:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have: Certification as Substance Use Disorder Professional (initial and continuous unencumbered licensure in Washington State) •Must be sufficiently licensed and credentialed through Department of Health to practice independently without clinical supervision. Current First Aid and CPR card Have completed a recent Blood borne Pathogen training within the last year. Equivalent experience is not accepted in place of required education.
